Provide technical support to university clients regarding university computer systems and software. Provide telephone, on-site, and walk in support to resolve questions related to hardware, software, network and connectivity issues for faculty, staff and students.
Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software including: Windows, MS Office, web browsers, Adobe applications, networked computing environments, TCP/IP, and e-mail. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Proven ability to use a wide variety of diagnostic tools to identify, analyze, and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity problems. Ability to lift/move 50 pounds.
Experience supporting Mac OS X and mobile devices.
