Posting Summary: The Center for Public Health Genomics is seeking a Senior Research Data Technician. The Data Technician provides research support and coordination, performs programming and other analytical support activities for genomics research projects, and performs literature reviews for research publications, presentations, and grants for other public health-related grants.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. Qualified candidates must also have at least one year of relevant experience. Some research or project support experience required. Programming experience is required. Experience obtained as a student may be considered.
Analytical and programming skills, superb oral and written communication skills, ability to perform literature reviews and analysis, knowledge of data management, and strong organization and interpersonal skills are also required.
This position is restricted and is contingent upon the continuation of funding.
Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Required Specific Degree/Training: B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related degree.
