Posting Summary: The University of Virginia Police Department is looking to fill the role of PC Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing computer systems and equipment located throughout the department. The PC Maintenance Technician will also provide excellent customer service by troubleshooting and resolving end-user problems and ensuring correct operation of computers, mobile devices, cell phones, cameras, and a vast array of other technological equipment.
Incumbents must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office products, Web design, Adobe products, and Apple products.
Work schedule for the PC Maintenance Technician may vary based on the needs of the department.

Required License or Certification: Virginia Drivers License with ta positive point balance or the ability to obtain a Virginia Driver's License within 90 days of hire.
